How will a relationship with a PEO help us control our costs and increase our profit margins?
The nature of our relationship with your organization will allow you to lower your employment costs, and thus increase your bottom line. The availability of full scale benefit plans to your employees will increase retention, which will decrease your costs related to turnover. The team at QTI HR can provide timely and critical assistance with employment related compliance and employee relations issues, which will help protect you against costly liability. We will provide you time and cost savings by handling the administrative work associated with all aspects of Human Resource activities (such as benefits enrollment, new hire paperwork, handling of payroll related issues, etc….). This again allows owners and all staff members to focus on the company’s competencies and increase profit margins.

We recruit for a wide variety of positions including office/administrative, industrial, technical/professional and executive.

What placement options do you offer?
Our positions come in three primary formats. • Temporary – Positions with a defined beginning and ending time period. This often is a great way to earn an income or try several jobs before settling on a career or a company. • Contract to Hire – These positions involve you working for our company for a specified time period (as an employee of our company) before an opportunity of direct employment with the client is offered. The contract period serves as a time for you and the employer to get to know each other before making any long term commitments. • Direct Hire – In these positions you immediately become an employee of the client upon selection for the job.

What’s the process if you recommend me to an employer?
The answer to that question varies with our client’s expectations and demands. Our general approach is to recruit candidates that best match the client’s culture and required skill sets. [This is done after you have completed our application materials and been interviewed by one of our employment specialists.] In some situations clients will then review selected candidate profiles and may elect to conduct onsite interviews. A final selection is then made for employment.

I need QTI to assist me in hiring an employee. How can you help me?
There are several recruitment options available to you. Below are the most common: Temporary Contract positions have a defined period of employment, whether it is a day, week, month(s) or year(s) and the employee will be on a QTI's payroll during this time. You will be charged an hourly fee for the services provided that consists of the employee's wages plus a mark-up percentage above what that individual is paid. Contract to Hire This is a risk free means to try an employee in a job before you extend a direct offer of employment. The contract to hire period traditionally runs 520 hours of continuous employment on QTI's payroll. After this time, you may opt to hire the employee without any additional fees.If you wish to abridge the contract period, you can hire the employee into your direct employment at any time during the initial 520 hours. You are then charged a prorated fee based on the employee's previous time spent in your position. Direct Hire QTI can also tailor a search or customize pre-screening tests to meet your specific needs. There is no fee obligation on your part unless an individual is hired through our referral. You pay an initial placement fee and the newly found employee becomes part of your organization immediately. |

How much do your services cost?
Costs for our services are market competitive. For a contract or contract-to-hire placement, we establish a base markup percentage added to the employee's hourly wage. This mark-up includes all payrolling costs such as unemployment insurance, social security, workers compensation, vacations, benefits and our recruiting costs. You are then invoiced this per-hour amount weekly for each verified hour the employee works. For a direct-hire position we assess a one-time, front-end fee based on a percentage of our candidate's annual earnings. Actual percentage figures vary based on market conditions, base pay rate, volume discounts or the specialized nature of your needs. Please feel free to contact a QTI representative for a direct price quote.

How do you screen your candidates?
Prior to the assignment of any QTI employee, we conduct a thorough background screening, behavioral interviewing, testing and orientation. Each administrative candidate is tested on typing, word processing, alpha and numeric data entry, math, spelling, punctuation and filing. We use the computerized "SkillCheck" system to qualify each candidate on a wide variety of software applications. In addition we will work with you to administer any other specialized tests you require.
Back to questions

What do you pay the people we use?
We use the salary structure you recommend for a position. There is never a fee to an applicant for placement services with QTI.
