Job Description
Summary:
Our client, a metal fabricator, is seeking a Brake Press Operator to work on their production team. You will be responsible for the daily setup and operation of hydraulic CNC controlled press brakes in a just-in-time fabrication shop.
- Hours are Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am.
- Pay is $19.48 to $24.56 per hour depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a hydraulic press or punch press for routine established work
- Select correct tooling for the job task with supervisor/lead assistance
- Load, install and correctly set up the tools required with assistance from a supervisor/lead
Qualifications:
- Positions at this client require access to items subject to ITAR regulations and require the individual to be a US person. QTI is an equal opportunity employer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic fabrication background
- Basic dimensional measuring and ability to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools
- Competency in basic shop math
