Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a Quality Control Professional to ensure production parts meet quality standards and customer requirements. This role involves programming the CMM, inspecting parts, maintaining quality documentation, and collaborating with the Quality Manager to resolve issues and deliver quality products on time. This position will be temporary for 3-6 months, but for the right candidate could become permanent.
- Hours: Monday – Thursday 5:00am-3:00pm, Fridays when in overtime
- Pay: $22-25+/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CMM utilizing PC-DMIS software.
- Inspect production parts using QC measuring tools and optical comparator.
- Read prints, analyze data, interpret results, and recommend improvements.
- Conduct floor checks and communicate defects to production personnel.
- Assist with ISO9001 compliance and 5S objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing quality assurance and CMM programming/operation required.
- Ability to read prints and use measuring equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inspection techniques and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
