Job Description
Summary:
As a Factory Stockroom Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of the factory stockroom. Responsible for inventory control and material handling, you will ensure that the necessary raw materials, components, and finished goods are readily available to support the production operations.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday with overtime
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels and movements
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and components
- Retrieve and distribute materials and components to production areas as needed
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Perform regular cycle counts and audits to ensure the integrity of inventory data
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret inventory reports and documentation
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software
- Physical ability to lift and move materials, as required
