Job Description
Summary:
Do you have experience within labs or regulated facilities? A biotech facility in the Windsor area is looking for a 1st shift Fermentation Operator. This company is recognized for its state-of-the-art facility and positive work environment! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a FDA-regulated food production environment and knowledge of GMP's.
- $21.50/hour!
- Monday-Friday; 6:00am-2:30pm
- Opportunity to be hired on
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment in a hygienic and safe manner in accordance with all processing procedures
- Operate equipment such as fermenters, centrifuges, autoclaves, pelletizers, mills and freeze dryers
- Monitor the production process and collect samples for various analysis
- Perform minor maintenance work and mechanical upkeep
- Safely moves equipment, product, and materials with powered pallet jacks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Relevant experience in an FDA-regulated or controlled manufacturing environment; preferably industrial fermentation or pharmaceuticals.
