Job Description
Summary:
A manufacturer in the Pewaukee area is looking for a Material Handler to join their team! The ideal candidate will have 6 months of previous shipping/receiving and forklift operation experience. Qualified candidates apply today!
• Monday-Friday ; 6:00am-2:00pm
• Pay starting at $19/hr
Responsibilities:
• Lift and move packages
• Palletize, package, load, and offload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Move freight using manual or motorized equipment, including forklifts.
• Ensure correct labeling for products in boxes or plastic wrap.
• Maintain availability of boxes and shipping materials to sustain production line flow
Qualifications:
• HSD/GED/HSED
• 6+ months warehouse/forklift experience
• Able to be forklift certified.
• Understand measuring equipment such as tape measures, scales and decimals/fraction measures
• Long periods of standing, as well as regularly walking, sitting, lifting, reaching, and bending, are required. Regularly lifting up to 50 lbs is required.
