Job Description
Summary:
Our client, a high-quality pet food production facility, is looking to add full time Machine Operators to their 1st shift production crew. You will be responsible for loading of frozen met blocks and or totes of fresh meat. Hiring immediately. Apply today!
- Hours: Monday-Friday 4:00am-12:00pm
- Pay $17.50 per hour, plus $0.50 after 90 days
Responsibilities:
- Determine the amounts of meat needed for each batch of meat to be ground
- Physically separate frozen blocks from each other with power and/or hand tools
- Use pressure washer to clean and sanitize equipment
- Safely operate forklift and scissor lift - client will certify
Qualifications:
- Lift up to 60lbs on a continuous basis, from floor level to conveyor level (up to 48”)
- Bend, push/pull, squat, reach, grip, grab, hold various products, packaging and tools
- Ability to work in various temperatures including extreme heat, humidity and cold
- Related experience: farm work, warehouse, restaurant, production
