Job Description
The QTI Group has partnered with WPPI Energy, a not-for-profit regional wholesale power company located in Sun Prairie, to recruit a Temp-to-Hire Office Coordinator. This full-time, on-site role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations and contributing to the administrative team. As the first point of contact for visitors, the Office Coordinator will balance front-desk responsibilities with administrative and project-based tasks, including basic administrative support for the IT department and other teams.
We’re looking for an excellent communicator that is self-motivated, proactive, engaged in their work, and operates effectively with minimal direction. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys being a dependable presence in the office, values teamwork, and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay is $24+/hr., depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors at the front desk; manage building access in a secure facility.
- Provide administrative support for meetings and events (e.g., set up and clean up, coordinating catering, preparing materials, greeting guests).
- Maintain office supplies and inventory, assist with mail distribution, and monitor voicemail inbox.
- Clean and stock meeting rooms, workrooms, coffee bars, and kitchens.
- Monitor office needs and proactively step in to support smooth daily operations.
- Assist IT and other departments with basic administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with administrative team on various projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of office or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Highly reliable, organized, conscientious, and detail-oriented.
- Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and accountability.
- Works well both independently and collaboratively.
- Must pass a background check.
