Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is recruiting for a Machine Operator in the Columbus, Wisconsin area. You will be responsible for observing and monitoring the operation of various boxing machines, operating a forklift or power pallet jack to transfer pallets to the shrink wrapper and to the warehouse, coordinating change-overs on the case erector, supplying the specific boxes and making appropriate machine adjustments. - Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 4:00 pm to Midnight
- Pay $26.15 per hour; after training, pay will increase to $28.71 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Observes and monitors the operation of various boxing machines
- Operates forklift or power pallet jack to transfer pallet to the shrink wrapper and to the warehouse
- Coordinates change-overs on the case erector, supplying the specific boxes and making appropriate machine adjustments
- Manually restacks pallets and partial pallets, when necessary, prior to shrink-wrapping in order to prepare the pallet for transferring to the warehouse
Qualifications:
- Machine Operation skills required
- Good math and computer skills
- Must have previous forklift experience
- Related experience: food preparation, assembly, forklift, production
