Launch your career in the fast-growing flexible packaging industry! As a Pouch Assistant, you’ll work hands-on with our production team to create high-quality pouches. This entry-level role is your first step toward becoming a Pouch Operator, with cross-training opportunities across multiple departments. Compensation:
- Pay: Starting at $18/hr (based on experience)
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pouch Operator with machine setup and operation
- Monitor pouch quality and report defects or issues
- Maintain production standards for speed and quality
- Prepare packaging materials (boxes, pallets, labels)
- Perform quality control checks and data entry
- Clean and maintain equipment between runs
- Package finished products and prepare cartons
- Support other departments as needed (press, slitting, lamination)
- Follow safety procedures and work order instructions
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around machinery
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual tasks and basic hand tools
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Ability to work overtime as needed
