Job Description
The QTI Group is proud to partner with a leading print organization dedicated to supporting schools and libraries. We’re seeking a 1st Shift Print Supervisor to join their growing team in a direct-hire role. This position is ideal for a hands-on, innovative leader passionate about print production, process improvement, and team development. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, drive efficiency, and mentor a skilled team—while advancing digital print capabilities and staying ahead of industry trends.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily digital print and pre-press operations to ensure timely, high-quality output
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshoot production issues as needed
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of print professionals
- Monitor workflows and performance metrics to identify and implement process improvements
- Coordinate maintenance and service for print and pre-press equipment
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet production and client expectations
- Conduct performance reviews and deliver regular feedback
- Manage departmental budgets, including materials, labor, and operational costs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a print production environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience in print or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of pre-press operations (file prep, color matching, layout) and digital print equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
- Proven ability to balance production goals with team development
