Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Spring Coiler Machine Operator for our client in Beaver Dam, the world-wide industry leader in the production of tooling supplies. The ideal candidate will have experience within a manufacturing setting and is willing to train!
- Hours: Monday-Friday 3:00pm – 11:30pm, must be able to train on 1st shift.
- Pay: $22.01. plus $0.55 shift premium once moved to 2nd shift.
- Pay range over time up to $27.45 with earning raises every 6 months!
Responsibilities:
Operate and set up the spring coiling machines
Install and adjust all tooling required to coil the springs
Move, load and unloading materials utilizing forklifts, hand truck or crane
Qualifications:
Brake press, punch press, CNC or manual press background is a plus
Must be able to read blueprints
Knowledge of machine tool capabilities and shop math
Ability to read a caliper
