Summary
The QTI Group is recruiting for a Commercial Banking Leader (AVP / VP) to join our client in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This individual will work closely with small to medium-sized businesses to understand their banking and lending needs, delivering customized solutions such as loans, lines of credit, and treasury management services. Our client prides itself on providing premier member satisfaction and long-term business client relationships, which position them well for business growth.

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Compensation: Competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary will be determined based on experience and level at which this individual is hired in at (i.e., Relationship Manager, AVP, VP)

Responsibilities include:
  • Drive growth by proactively developing new customer relationships through strategic prospecting and networking in the greater Milwaukee market
  • Deliver excellence by serving customers with high levels of care that builds trust and loyalty
  • Foster collaboration with Credit and Operational teams to support seamless delivery
  • Be a community leader by representing the organization at local events, strengthening the organization’s presence and community impact
  • Achieve results around goals related to loan and deposit growth, fee income, and portfolio quality
  • Champion innovation by promoting the commercial/business services initiatives and cultivating service-to-sales culture to enhance member experience and profitability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, including 3+ years in commercial lending and relationship management; SBA 504 lending experience preferred
  • Deep expertise in business lending, deposit acquisition, and treasury management strategies
  • Proven track record in business development and leadership
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for lending and deposit products
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and professional approach toward consultative conversations, needs analysis and negotiation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities, including financial calculations and credit analysis
