Summary:

The QTI Group is assisting our client on the west side of Madison who is looking for a Customer Service Representative. This full time, temporary opportunity operates Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. This exciting role offers $17.00 an hour and involves working in a business casual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly phone support to customers
  • Assist the team in achieving their goals
  • Advise supervisor of potential concerns, training opportunities and trends
  • Understand and assist customers with policy related questions
  • Review policy contracts regarding contractual rights and verify policy values
  • Submit service requests thought he workflow system
  • Accurately process routine requests according to established procedures using system knowledge
  • Communicate with a high level of professionalism, patience and understanding to callers
  • Provide resolution to customer concerns
  • Read, analyze, interpret and respond to general business correspondence
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in customer service or at a call center preferred
  • Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations with empathy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and Word
  • Willingness to submit to a 7 year background check and drug screen upon acceptance of position
