Credit Union National Association is recruiting for a Digital Production Specialist via

The QTI Group.

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) is the most influential financial services trade association and the only national association that advocates on behalf of all of America's credit unions. We’ve been named a Top Workplace for two years in a row by the Wisconsin State Journal (WSJ).

Credit Union National Association is excited to announce an opening for a Digital Production Specialist to join their fast-moving, creative, and results-driven environment. You’ll work hands-on in our digital channels, focusing on building and optimizing the company’s websites. You’ll combine elements of web production, graphic design, user experience, proofreading, and problem-solving to help make sure our web pages sparkle. As a team player and contributor with technical chops, you’ll implement strategies set by the Digital and Marketing teams and various business areas.

You’ll play a vital role in a human-centered organization that serves as the voice for credit unions nationwide. We offer competitive pay, outstanding benefits, a dynamic work environment with work-from-home flexibility, plenty of support, and a great team.

This position will be considered a hybrid with a blend of remote and in-office at CUNA’s corporate headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin, for Dane County candidates.

  • Manage, maintain, and update CUNA websites throughout the organization, providing content updates, ongoing maintenance, and other functionality.
  • Post recorded content (like conferences, webinars, and other events) to the website for access by members.
  • Manage workflows, keep processes running smoothly, work efficiently and communicate clearly as web updates and new work come into our department from other areas of the company.
  • Incorporate content and work side-by-side with marketers, writers, designers, UX designers, analysts, and others. Work proactively and collaboratively with the team in completing projects and learning the various CUNA online systems.
  • Document and maintain system processes as applications are developed, modified, and/or upgraded.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members in Digital in meeting deadlines and work with a variety of different departments on completing projects.
  • Learn and provide support for other CUNA online systems for communities and email channels, as needed.
  • Work with the Analytics team member(s) as needed for purposes of insights, improvements, analytics implementation, and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the overall production, function, and maintenance of our websites, representing the Digital team as necessary in cross-functional meetings and discussions.
  • Monitor and respond to technical issues, questions, and concerns, from both external and internal customers.
  • Work with staff members from other areas of the company regarding the websites and their integrations with data systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications Arts, Marketing or Mass Communications with relevant course work in digital media or relevant experience in lieu of education.
  • 1+ years of experience in digital platforms (i.e. content management systems like WordPress and others, online communities, mobile apps, social media, and analytics). Bonus points for graphic design experience or acumen, previous work with Adobe Experience Manager/Cloud, and the Adobe Suite of products like Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of proper digital production techniques (file types, resolutions, layout, testing, basic HTML and CSS).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Solid presentation and communications skills.
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Energy and flexibility to be a highly proactive contributor to a diverse team, with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to sometimes work with limited direction, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of completion.

CUNA is an equal opportunity employer. We seek to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool. At CUNA, we believe our differences are our strength, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
