Summary:

The QTI Group is recruiting for an Electrical Technician Supervisor for a Manufacturing company in Menomonee Falls, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience in full panel assembly, machine wiring and testing processes along with excellent interpersonal and leadership experience. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity on first shift. Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Pay is negotiable and based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes lean manufacturing principles to advance the entire panel build process toward improved efficiency, consistency and quality.
  • Determines appropriate methods and means to assemble and deliver complex, high quality products on time, leveraging developed relationships and lean concepts
  • Consistently evaluates the panel assembly and wiring process to reduce costs, improve product quality, and increase efficiency.
  • Builds a strong organization and drives product improvement through effective interaction with engineering, mechanical build, customers and vendors.
  • Demonstrates exceptional coordination and scheduling for panel assembly, machine wiring and startup.
  • Works towards developing standard panel assembly procedures to improve consistency and ease of training.
  • Directs and manages a team of individuals, responsible for all aspects of panel assembly, machine wiring and machine startup.
  • Improves the organization's competitive advantage and pricing through the identification of new equipment, technologies, processes and training.
  • Determines, evaluates and measures key performance indicators for areas managed and implements improvements.
  • Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, work flow, and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Performs the duties of Electrical Technician.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in electrical or automation technology plus 5+ years manufacturing management/supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in supervising an operational team.
  • Technical understanding of electrical assembly and requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, interdepartmental communication and interaction skills
  • Ability to drive solutions through departmental staff
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office and ERP System to manage operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs, occasionally lifts up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to use and operate an overhead crane.
