The QTI Group is partnering with client on the east side of Madison to recruit and hire an experienced Analyst to join their team. This role aligns with a financial analyst, analyzing internal and external client data to ensure billings and payment processing is executed effectively. The Analyst will have an opportunity to dive into client information to do data modeling and communicate those results with internal staff and external clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client data to feed effective and accurate billings and payment processing
  • Partner with internal teams to provide data and financial analysis support
  • Maintain database of client contract terms, premiums and underwriting or operational updates
  • Assist with new and renewal contracts, which may include producing proposal spreadsheets with claims and experience data
  • Review claims for payment and analyze claim loss detail
  • Maintain database, including quarterly data report updates
  • Prepare monthly billings and deposit schedules for clients
  • Prepare year-end adjusted premium calculations and respond to related auditor questions
  • Prepare and review client data for modeling and tracking specific claim events
  • Proactively identify opportunities to contribute to the team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a finance/accounting role, preferably in a public accounting environment where you work with both internal and external clients
  • Superior data analysis and problem-solving skills using data
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting staggered deadlines
  • Outstanding communication skills with demonstrated a customer service aptitude, preferably experience external client-facing experience
  • Exceptional computer skills, including the use of industry-specific database programs and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Access)
  • Knowledge in the use of SharePoint, OnBase and reporting tools such as Crystal Reports is a plus
