Credit Union National Association (CUNA) is excited to announce an opening for a Graphic Designer. We are seeking a collaborative, leading-edge graphic designer to create on-brand, on-persona assets for digital and print media. Reporting to the Creative Services and Marketing Manager, the Graphic Designer will work alongside a team of designers to fulfill project requests from ideas to execution including traditional, digital, video and motion graphics. You’ll participate in a wide range of work from full-creative-freedom assignments to standards-driven corporate design, to headphones-friendly production art.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and deliver high-quality, on-time graphic design and production art work
  • Propose concepts and executions that synthesize strategic and aesthetic goals
  • Maintain brand standards
  • Help nail down specifications and estimates
  • Produce clean, production-ready art
  • Create, organize, and maintain assets and materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve workflow and share best practices
  • Serve as brand ambassador; educate internal audiences of our brand persona and identify compelling ways to tell our brand story visually

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of design experience. Experience in digital/motion/video preferred.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of concepts, illustration styles and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced knowledge in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects (or similar).
  • Experience with streaming media and HTML5 multimedia features.
  • Experience creating professional video and motion graphics.
  • Comfortable working in a Mac and PC environment.
