    Summary:

    The QTI Group is assisting our client, a national leader in the financial services industry, in locating a Marketing Communications Specialist to join their organization. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, able to manage their time well, and must feel comfortable with taking ownership of work. This long-term temporary opportunity operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., will pay $16.50 per hour and operates in a business casual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying needs, objectives and target audiences
  • Analyze projects and recommend marketing solutions
  • Coordinate and implement communications, marketing and advertising plans, both internally and for customers, which support strategic goals
  • Coordinate and implement design, production and distribution of marketing projects
  • Provide creative direction on projects to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Develop, implement and use measures to analyze results from marketing initiatives
  • Develop, implement and monitor marketing quality control procedures and standards
  • Monitor projects to ensure compliance with established company communication guidelines and procedures
  • Ensure communication objectives and customer needs are met
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism or Advertising
  • 3 to 5 years equivalent work experience
  • Social media and/or public relations experience a plus
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of completion while meeting important deadlines
  • Ability to work well with diverse teams
  • Experience preparing cohesive content for e-mails, websites, brochures and other promotions and campaigns
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication abilities
  • Quick to learn new systems and procedures
  • Able to work both independently and in a team-centered environment
  • Willingness to submit to a 7-year background check
