    The QTI Group is assisting our client on Madison’s east side who is currently looking to fill a temporary-to-hire, full time Mortgage Document Processor position. This role will operate Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and offers a starting pay of $18.00 per hour, with consideration given to prior experience. The ideal candidate will be capable of working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven role.   • Processes 1st lien loans, with an emphasis of developing the knowledge to process other loan types (2nd liens, CEMA, Co-Op, Correspondent, and specialty Bond loans)
  • Perform data entry tasks in Encompass
  • Process collateral packages in accordance with the company guidelines
  • Assist with packaging and shipment of collateral packages
  • Review all collateral documents for accuracy and request corrections as needed
  • Contact title companies to obtain any outstanding documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative capacity
  • 1+ years of experience in mortgage, title, or real estate fields highly preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with title companies, attorneys, branches, and correspondents
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy entering data
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs regularly
  • Proficiency with MS Office; specifically, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • High attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Local travel may be required
