    Our client, located in downtown Madison, is looking for a direct hire full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join their team! The person in this role will be the first point of contact and assist with administrative support across the organization. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a starting pay rate of $16 per hour, based on experience. Apply today for this dream job!

    Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
  • Greet visitors and guests, direct them accordingly
  • Maintain a tidy and personable reception area
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries
  • Order supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings in Outlook
  • Maintain updated records of office expenses and costs
  • Assist with work orders to maintenance staff
  • Filing, photocopying and faxing
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional attitude and business casual appearance
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong work ethic and a very high, consistent level of reliability
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • 7 year background check required
