Summary


Credit Union National Association is excited to announce an opening for a Salesforce Developer to join the Information Technology team. This position will be part of our IT Applications team and will be part of the team responsible for developing, defining, configuring, supporting, and auditing Nimble AMS, which is built on the Salesforce platform.


Responsibilities


Development

  • Responsible for developing, defining, configuring, supporting, and auditing Nimble AMS, which is built on the Salesforce platform.
  • Build Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company's programs.
  • Responsible for all code-based solutions within Salesforce involving data migrations, systems integrations, and 3rd party applications.
  • Develop, document, and enforce application standards and procedures.
  • Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce. com platform.
  • Disciplined and detailed documentation of code changes.

Technical Guidance and Support

  • Help provide technical guidance and best practices, including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
  • Assist with leading customer-driven solutions utilizing strong technical design skills and strong working relationships with internal groups.
  • Support end-users troubleshooting and resolving incidents.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Salesforce administrator and Business Analyst to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternatives, and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.

Other

  • Assist with assessing and implementing selected solutions from Salesforce AppExchange.
  • Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases.
  • Assist with the maintenance of users, roles, profiles, and hierarchies.
  • Backups/Restore, configuration, and execution, plus cloning and environment management execution.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards that can deliver insights and success metrics.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Management, Information Systems or equivalent combination of education or relevant experience in lieu of education.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce development and/or Salesforce Administration experience.
  • This position requires extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce, including:
    • Certification in one or both of the following:
      • Salesforce Platform App Builder or Developer I
      • Salesforce Administrator
  • Experience building solutions that leverage Flows, Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visual Force (VF Pages), Force.com API, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Experience integrating third-party applications with Salesforce.
  • Understanding of, and experience with, Salesforce architecture and API.
  • Familiar with Salesforce Lightning Design System and SFDX.
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end-users.
  • Experience and expertise in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Software engineering skills with Java SE & EE (Java, JSF, SQL) preferred.
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
  • Disciplined with documenting of code changes.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

The following are strongly desired:

  • Experience with Nimble AMS is a plus.
  • Experience with Community Hub is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Source control technologies such as GIT.
