Summary:

A leading manufacturer of factory-built homes is looking for IMMEDIATE candidates to join their Service Technician team. This position operates Monday through Friday, with overnight stays Monday through Thursday as you will inspect homes and make repairs in the field as well as maintain and build positive relations with dealers and homeowners. Pay starts at $16.00 hourly, but may increase based on experience. Our client pays for both hotel and meal fees and provides tools, supplies, and a company vehicle. Responsibilities:

  • Repairs homes for dealers and homeowners.
  • Completes and returns detailed work order forms for finished jobs.
  • May complete inspection forms, perhaps with photographs, for major repair jobs.
  • May oversee sub-contractors on certain work projects, as needed.
  • May participate in monthly feedback meetings with production management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or (GED); or 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes, but not limited to: standing/walking, noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, and humid), routine bending/stooping/twisting/pushing/pulling, lifting/moving 100lbs at times., and climbing and balancing.
