Summary
The QTI Group is partnering with a high growth manufacturer to hire a Bilingual Human Resources Manager to lead HR for its Portage operations. With the assistance of an HR Coordinator, the HR Manager will be a hands-on leader to drive recruitment, engagement, employee relations and HR administration activities that support approximately 200 employees. This is an exciting period in our client’s history as the company is upscaling people, processes and procedures to support its explosive year-over-year growth and support world-class operations.

Location: On-site – Portage, Wisconsin

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that can scale with continued business growth.
  • Lead employee engagement and development activities that can reduce turnover and boost employee morale.
  • Serve as a business partner to senior leaders in the assessment and analysis of staffing needs and lead associated recruitment efforts.
  • Lead and coordinate onboarding and training activities for all staff
  • Manage relationship with outsourced payroll and benefits administrative partner firm and work with HR Coordinator to manage communications related to payroll and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Organize company-wide communications, meetings and events.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressively more responsible HR generalist experience with deep understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Servant leadership style; able to roll up your sleeves to do the day-to-day alongside the HR Coordinator while also providing strategic input and direction.
  • Experience working in HRIS systems; Paylocity experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field preferred.
