Summary:
Our client, a local company in the Beaver Dam area is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join their team as a Direct Hire Opportunity. This candidate should have 5+ years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience and print experience is a plus!
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Monday through Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm
Responsibilities:
  • Observes mechanical devices, equipment and machinery in operation and listens to their sounds to diagnose machine malfunction and determines the need for adjustment, repair or replacement.
  • Studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications
  • Dismantles machinery and/or equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts.
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts.
  • Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
  • Assembles and test operates machinery and equipment to verify correction of malfunction.
  • Coordinates with manager and assists with production operator’s timely preventative maintenance and predictive parts replacement and repair.
  • Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
  • Repairs electrical equipment or replaces faulty wiring, switches, or relays, as qualified to perform.
  • Initiates purchase orders for parts, repairs or replacement equipment or pieces.
  • Monitors paper recycling operations and performs minor repairs and coordinates outside service with manager for major repairs and operation malfunctions.
Qualifications:
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school and 5+ years of related experience and/or training or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in the Print industry is a plus!
  • Must be able to give technical direction to others and project leadership over multiple safety teams.
  • Ability to redirect to issues as they emerge and reprioritize based on current business conditions.
