Summary:
The QTI Group is recruiting for a Maintenance Refrigeration Technician for a national private label food manufacturer located in Beaver Dam, WI. Qualified candidate for this Direct Hire position will have at least one year of industrial maintenance experience.
- Hours are Monday to Friday 5:00pm to 3:00am
- Pay is up to $32 per hour, based on experience Plus $1.50 Shift differential
Responsibilities:
- Monitors and evaluates equipment logs and reports for steam, refrigeration, water, compressed air and HVAC systems. Looks to correct chronic or repetitive problems by evaluating the log or reports
- Engaged in the operation and maintenance of the powerhouse equipment
- Maintains records of all equipment and recommends improvements to inventory and preventive maintenance systems based on this information
- Coordinates efforts with outside contractors to successfully execute maintenance contracts
- Procures material’s necessary for the maintenance of equipment in his area of responsibility
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Ammonia Refrigeration or related field.
- Background that includes, but not limited to boilers, air compressor equipment, understanding of plant utilities systems, equipment installation and startups
- Experience working with vendors and contractors.
- Previous experience in the food industry and knowledge of GMP’s and SQF audits
