The QTI Group has partnered with a manufacturing company located in Franklin to hire their next Strategic Buyer – Raw Materials. The Strategic Buyer will play a key role in the organization’s negotiations and contract execution with suppliers and will be responsible for sourcing, negotiation and purchasing raw materials to meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing functions and negotiations with vendors related to price and availability of raw materials
- Management of supplier relationships and supplier scorecards
- Monitor supplier performance, development, quality and availability
- Support the development of the organization’s commodity strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Purchasing preferred
- 3+ years of purchasing experience, manufacturing experience desired
- SAP experience desired
- CPIM or CSCP certification desired
