Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to manufacture or repair any tooling needs that the plant has using Lathes, Mills, Grinders, and other precision equipment. This individual must understand how they impact product quality and how they affect both internal and external customers.
- Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11pm. or 11pm to 7:30am
- Pay: $25.00-$30.00+ depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Read and follow written work instructions as provided.
- Read and interpret complicated tool drawings.
- Fabricate and/or repair tools, fixtures and machine parts
- Manufacture quality products to meet customer requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Tool and Die experience
- Do complicated set ups and operations on machine tools such as lathes, standard and CNC mills and EDM’s, grinders, hone, saws, CAD CAM.
- Maintain a continuous material flow throughout the Tool & Die Process
- Design and fabricate simple or complex jigs and fixtures.
- Make decisions’ using math, charts, tables, formulas, and knowledge of machining techniques and methods.
