Melissa is an HR Business Partner specializing in providing HR services including employee relations, onboarding, workshops, separations, and policy and practice compliance guidance. She enjoys continuously learning and taking on new challenges.  She works to develop trusted partnerships with clients and to provide value while helping them through a variety of HR matters. She enjoys the variety of work in her role as an HR Business Partner at QTI, the connections she gets to make with different clients, and the colleagues she gets to work with.

Background:  Melissa graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and has obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications.

Prior to joining QTI, Melissa gained experience in internal HR positions.  Her experience includes working at UW Credit Union where she had the opportunity to move into HR in an Organizational Development/Talent Management role, and then had the opportunity to develop her skills in Total Rewards. More recently Melissa worked at UW Health as a Compensation Analyst.

Fun Fact:  Melissa worked at a roller rink in high school as a DJ and a floor guard.
