You will oversee the full software development lifecycle – from legacy systems to cutting-edge platforms – while driving innovation, digital product growth, and operational excellence. You will also lead a high-performing dual-shore team specializing in development, AI, and analytics, with responsibility for client relationships, business process optimization, and departmental P&L.

We are seeking a seasoned software developer and delivery expert to guide custom application development and engineering solutions across a mid-market client base. You will oversee the full software development lifecycle – from legacy systems to cutting-edge platforms – while driving innovation, digital product growth, and operational excellence. You will also lead a high-performing dual-shore team specializing in development, AI, and analytics, with responsibility for client relationships, business process optimization, and departmental P&L.
Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin – Hybrid (3 days/week in-office)
Comp Range: $120,000-140,000
Responsibilities Include
- Lead client-facing business process and gam analyses to identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the company’s digital product offerings
- Perform business process mapping using lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows and enhance productivity
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements aligned with project goals
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and documentation to project managers and stakeholders
- Oversee all phases of software projects, including defining scope, setting goals, and ensuring successful delivery
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial alignment with objectives
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and inform future projects
- Mentor and guide the development team; assign tasks, provide feedback, and foster professional growth
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain competitive edge and to drive innovation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading software development projects in both technical and managerial capacities, preferably in a software development consulting environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Software Development, or a related field
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and project management principles, with strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Experience managing Azure DevOps, Jira, Power BI, Figma, GitHub and other industry standard platforms
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills; able to effectively engage with clients and leadership at all levels
- Demonstrated success managing project budgets and delivering results on time and within scope
- Committed to delivering exceptional client experiences through collaboration and transparency with a track record of successfully managing concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at leading change initiatives and driving continuous improvement
- Experience working in or with manufacturing environments and familiarity with various ERP systems
- Experience working with offshore teams is highly preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
