The QTI Group has partnered with a family owned and managed warehouse, transportation and logistics company to recruit and hire their first Controller. Reporting to the President, the Controller will provide financial and accounting oversight, introduce and implement best practices for auditing and reporting and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for six entities under the company umbrella.

This is an on-site role based in Monroe, WI
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Manage internal controls and audit processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
