Fabricator - 1st Shift

Summary

QTI is partnering with a local food packaging facility who is looking to add a skilled Fabricator to their team. In this role, Fabricators would be responsible for fabricating, assembling and installing stainless steel components used in food processing and packaging equipment. This is a DIRECT HIRE position with a 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm schedule. Pay starts at $28/hr with competitive pay and production bonuses. Responsibilities:

Fabricate, assemble and weld components to form structures and machinery

Install fabricated components in accordance with all safety and quality guidelines

Inspect and test fabricated components

Adhere to all food safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications

Previous experience with stainless steel fabrication, preferably in food processing or manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

Ability to stand for duration of shift and lift up to 50lbs
