The QTI Group is excited to partner with a manufacturer in Sun Prairie to hire their next Machining Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of engineering experience in a machining setting and provide support to production projects and new product launches. This is an on-site role in a heavy machining facility and will play an integral role in providing both engineering and production support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of quotes for new products
- Oversight of various machining process including CNC, milling and multi-axis machining
- Implement change requests as required to support both internal and external customers
- Ensure product launches are successful by providing support to customers and detailed technical documentation
- Adhere to IATF 16949:2016 and all internal quality standards
Qualifications
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a machining setting
- Strong experience in Industrial Design programs (CAD, CAM, SolidWorks)
- Working knowledge of tooling, milling and machining manufacturing
