The QTI Group has partnered with our client to recruit a Property & Office Operations Assistant to join their property management and office operations team. This role is a vital part of supporting the organization’s mission of providing supportive housing solutions for people at the intersection of homelessness and mental health. The right candidate will bring strong organizational skills, comfort working with data and information systems, and the interpersonal ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people.

This position is temp-to-hire and offers part-time hours, approximately 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday mornings preferred. Pay is $20+/hr. based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Process rent payments, prepare tenant lease documents, and support delinquency reporting.
  • Track and maintain client data, including compliance records, police service calls, and property-related systems in Yardi Breeze.
  • Assist with monthly rent invoices, outstanding rent letters, and pest control communications.
  • Serve as a first point of contact at the front office for clients, with sensitivity to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, or trauma.
  • Support reporting, data administration, and compliance requirements under the direction of the Property Manager and leadership team.
  • Receive and track work orders, inspection notices, and maintenance logs, while helping to organize asset tracking and key inventory systems.
  • Contribute to communications, including quarterly newsletters and website updates.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ years of experience in property management, bookkeeping, or related administrative work preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively and sensitively with vulnerable populations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn property management systems (Yardi Breeze or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid WI driver’s license, insurance, and access to a vehicle required.
