Summary:
The QTI Group has partnered with a bank in seeking a full-time, direct hire, dedicated and professional Security and Facilities Technician to support their team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with experience with video management services, security systems and fire alarm panels. Will also support IT and the maintenance of facilities. Will maintain NVR and security systems as well as assisting in the general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and general maintenance projects. This position will operate Monday-Friday in office 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The pay is $55K+ based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and support video management systems, fire alarm panels, and access controls systems across all locations.
  • Possess skills in areas of specialization: locksmiths, NVR and security systems.
  • Installs equipment and services/supports branches with audio and video equipment, drawers, vaults, and keyways.
  • Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations for banking equipment, locksmith, and electrical products.
  • Repairs or replaces damaged components of banking equipment.
  • Respond to and resolve facility-related issues reported by staff, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
  • Perform some carpentry work, simple electrical repairs and installations and light plumbing when needed.
  • Provides and/or implements security and security protocols for all assigned facilities and information systems.
  • Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors.
  • Provides specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, and employee files and confidential records.
  • Conduct regular security inspections and walk-throughs to ensure all systems are operational and compliant with safety protocols.
  • Run electrical wiring and CAT 6 cabling.
  • Collaborate with IT to support integration of security systems with network infrastructure.
  • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Above average mechanical abilities and the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge with bank safes and safe deposit boxes.
  • Lifting of 50 pounds.
