Summary:
The QTI Group is excited to partner with a local manufacturer that is growing by leaps and bounds to recruit for a DIRECT HIRE Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and direction to the Shipping and Receiving department in areas of responsibility including inventory control, shipping, receiving, scheduling, quality, safety and environmental at their facility in the Fall River area.
- Pay: $60k-$70k per year, salaried exempt management
- Hours: Monday-Friday during the hours of 5:30am-3:30pm some Saturdays may be required
Requirements:
- Receives incoming freight and enters receiving information into the system to maintain efficient inventory control
- Determines work priorities, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow
- Standardizes procedures to assure the timely, accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions
- Negotiate with shipping vendors and logistics companies
- Develop and maintain well-trained staff
Qualifications:
- 3+ years supervisory experience in shipping and receiving
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous forklift experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
