Job Description
The QTI Group has partnered with a local organization to find a full-time Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities in the Madison area. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and making a visible impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming residential environments.
Compensation:
- $25+/hour, based on experience
- Additional compensation when on-call
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
- Rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
- Occasional weekend availability required
Responsibilities:
- Check in daily with the Property Manager
- Respond to service requests and perform repairs professionally
- Maintain clean and well-kept grounds (interior and exterior)
- Purchase and stock necessary parts and supplies
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Prep apartments for new residents
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors
Qualifications:
- Prior experience maintaining multi-family residences
- Established longevity in past positions
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors/outdoors
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
