Summary:

Our client in Madison, WI is seeking a Facilities Technician at either an intermediate or senior level to join their Security & Maintenance team! This role supports the company’s main bank center and branch locations throughout Madison, handling repairs, inspections, and general building maintenance.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:45 am – 3:45 pm, with occasional evening, weekend, or holiday on-call needs.

Pay for intermediate level $49,920-$56,160/year; for senior level $58,240-$68,640/year.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, and perform general repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, doors, fixtures).
Drive company van between bank center and branch locations.
Respond to after-hours facility issues as needed.
Intermediate Techs: Assist senior staff with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and network cabling while building hands-on experience.
Senior Techs: Lead inspections, handle advanced systems (boiler, chiller, security cameras, network cabling), mentor junior staff, and manage vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or progress toward journeyman status in HVAC or electrical preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in physically demanding environment
Valid driver's license
Intermediate level:
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or related
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems
- Familiarity with hand/power tools
Senior level:
- 7+ years of related experience
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Experience in vendor management
