Summary:

Are you dependable, motivated, and looking for more than “just a job”? Our client, a well-established food manufacturer in Columbus, WI, is hiring Production Team Members with the drive to grow into Equipment Operator roles. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful. We’re looking for individuals with a solid work history, strong work ethic, and the desire to learn and advance.

Hour: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay $20.67 per hour and $21.75 after 90 days

Responsibilities:

Inspects shaped units of dough and frozen products that do not meet quality specifications.
Rearranges product on belt as necessary to assure optimal freezing
Places frozen product into appropriate packaging according to specifications.
Ensures packages are properly sealed, best buy date is correct, reports open seams, holes and incorrect dates.
Places packaged product into proper corrugated cases; watchers for proper product packaging.
Follow strict food safety and quality standards
Learn new skills with the opportunity to train into machine operation

Qualifications:

Reliable candidates with a consistent work history (manufacturing background a plus, but not required)
The desire to grow into advanced roles
Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and perform repetitive tasks
Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality, good communication
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
