Summary:
Are you dependable, motivated, and looking for more than “just a job”? Our client, a well-established food manufacturer in Columbus, WI, is hiring Production Team Members with the drive to grow into Equipment Operator roles. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful. We’re looking for individuals with a solid work history, strong work ethic, and the desire to learn and advance.
• Hours are Sunday-Thursday, 4:00pm to Midnight.
• Pay $22.67 per hour and $23.75 after 90 days
Responsibilities:
• Inspects shaped units of dough and frozen products that do not meet quality specifications.
• Rearranges product on belt as necessary to assure optimal freezing
• Places frozen product into appropriate packaging according to specifications.
• Ensures packages are properly sealed, best buy date is correct, reports open seams, holes and incorrect dates.
• Places packaged product into proper corrugated cases; watchers for proper product packaging.
• Follow strict food safety and quality standards
• Learn new skills with the opportunity to train into machine operation
Qualifications:
• Reliable candidates with a consistent work history (manufacturing background a plus, but not required)
• The desire to grow into advanced roles
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and perform repetitive tasks
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality, good communication
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
