Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire Quality Engineer on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment with a focus on quality systems, process improvement, or product validation. This person will partner with other departments to improve processes, reduce waste, and ensure products meet specifications, regulatory requirements and customer expectations. • Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (some flexibility) (no mandatory OT!)
• Pay: Up to $75,000/yr
Responsibilities:
• Lead root cause investigations for product or process nonconformances
• Develop, implement, and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions
• Support production teams with process troubleshooting and improvement projects
• Maintain compliance with SQF, GMP and internal SOPs
• Assist with internal audits, customer audits, and third-party certification audits
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent combo of education and relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment
• Proficiency with quality tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC and process capability studies (Cp,Cpk).
• Must have excellent color perception and ability to visually inspect product and printed materials
