Summary:
This is a great day shift opportunity for Mechanically inclined individuals. You will work either as a Machine operator or Formulator with potential cross training for both roles. In this position, you will set up and operate a form/extrusion machine to manufacture bars and pellet forms as well as formulate and mix dry products to be processed into finishing goods. - Full-time hours: Monday - Wednesday 6:00am - 6:00pm and Thursday 6:00am - 11:30am. When in overtime schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00am-6:00pm
- Pay rate is $20 per hour!
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture products according to approved formulas
- Maintain accurate batch records and all paperwork required for this position
- Operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks and barrel handlers
- Assist with maintaining organization of warehouse including inventory control
- Thoroughly clean manufacturing equipment after each production run
- Ensure that the equipment is clean before starting a new product
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a production-driven environment
- Strong work history with favorable references
- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and lift for extended periods
- Related experience: food preparation, production, forklift
