Summary:
We've partnered with a growing non-profit in search of a Social Media Intern to contribute to their growth! The ideal candidate will have experience creating and managing content for social media. This part-time position has flexibility in hours, and is expected to operate 10 hours per week for 4 months. Pay is $15/hour. Join them on their mission to identify, promote, and implement solutions to foster a more inclusive and diversely-able world!
Responsibilities:
- Design social media strategy incorporating Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Generate, edit, publish, and share content on a regular basis
- Engage with followers and community members, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Attend community events and volunteer opportunities, take photos for social media
- Stay up to date with technology and trends, design tools, and applications
- Maintain relationships with key team members via email and regular virtual meetings
Qualifications:
- Pursuing degree in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism preferred
- Solid understanding of social media platforms
- Experience with copywriting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team virtually
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete background check upon accepted offer
