Summary:
Our client, a metal fabricator, located in Fall River, WI, is seeking a Tube Laser Operator to work at their just-in-time fabrication shop. This operator must be able to think quickly, make decisions, and have outstanding troubleshooting skills.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
- Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform setups and operations on Amada and Mitsubishi NC/NCL Lasers
- Check material thickness for accuracy and load material.
- Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
- May train others on set-up and operation of Laser/Plasma.
- Identify and solve machine alignment and cut condition problems.
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong Laser or CNC operating background.
- Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.
- Demonstrated blueprint reading capability.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
