Job Description
Summary:
Do you have experience operating and setting up CNC machines? A very well know manufacturer in the Dodge County area is looking to add 2nd shift CNC Set Up Technicians to their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of CNC operation experience and knowledge of blueprints.
- Hours: Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm – 1:00am
- Pay: $22-24/hour depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints
- Set up vertical machining centers and/or horizontal turning centers for production
- Measure and verify all dimensions on part(s) after set up
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Load and understand CNC tool
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, blueprints, and basic program movements
- Previous use of calipers and micrometers
- 3 years of CNC machine operation experience
- Perform quality checks on own work, or work of others
- Record and/or report all quality defects
