Job Description
Summary:
We are looking for a dependable Ingredient Handler to join a food production team. This role involves preparing, weighing, and assembling ingredients while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and sanitation. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, support efficient production, and be cross-trained in multiple areas. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and teamwork in a stable, full-time role.
Hours: 2nd shift, start time can vary depending on line: 2:00pm - 4:00pm and work 10 hours, 6 days a week
Pay: $18.50/hr
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, weigh, and assemble ingredients accurately
• Rotate ingredients using First-In, First-Out standards
• Operate forklifts and related equipment safely after certification
• Report equipment or production issues promptly to supervisors
• Follow verbal instructions and company guidelines consistently
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following GMPs
Qualifications:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to pass forklift exam and operate safely
• Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
