Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician to support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, including PLCs, robots, and other computer-controlled systems. This role also assists with general facilities maintenance and process improvements to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm and overtime as required Saturday’s from 10:00am-3:00pm.
- Pay: $22-28/hr depending on experience plus a $2.00/hr shift premium
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on production and non-production equipment.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with equipment calibrations, programmable device configurations, and hardware adjustments to resolve issues and improve reliability.
- Recommend and enforce maintenance safety requirements.
- Coordinate inventory of commonly used maintenance items to optimize storage and prevent excess stock.
- Execute preventive maintenance according to company procedures and work instructions.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to enhance preventative and predictive maintenance processes.
Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and assess equipment needs. Working knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC troubleshooting, repair, and programming.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings; familiarity with operating systems up to 3Ph and 480Vac.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
