Job Description

Summary:
Our client, a metal fabricator, located in Fall River, WI, is seeking a 1st shift Machine Operator to work on their new state-of-the-art Tube Laser Bender. This operator must be able to think quickly, make decisions, and have outstanding troubleshooting skills.
 
  • Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, plus overtime as needed
  • Pay: $18.00-$23.00/hr depending on experience
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform setups and operations.
  • Check material thickness for accuracy and load material.
  • Check parts according to blueprints.
  • Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
  • Identify and solve machine alignment and cut condition problems.
  • Troubleshoot minor program errors independently.
 
Qualifications:
  • Positions at this client require access to items subject to ITAR regulations and require the individual to be a US person.  QTI is an equal opportunity employer.
  • Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.
  • Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.
  • Demonstrated blueprint reading capability.
  • Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
