Summary:
The QTI Group has partnered with the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce to hire an Events & Program Coordinator. In this role you'll be supporting the implementation of Chamber events and programs by assisting with vendor coordination, production logistics, communication with members and attendees, and general program support.
To be successful in this role, you will need an understanding of the Chamber’s mission and how to communicate that mission through its events. This position also requires detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment.
Salary is $40k to 50k based on experience with excellent benefits offered.

This is an onsite position located in downtown Madison during office hours of 8:00/8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with optional remote Fridays. Flexibility to work early mornings or evenings a couple of times per month for events is required.
Responsibilities:
- Support execution of all Chamber events, including vendor coordination, production logistics, event setup, and attendee communication.
- Follow established project plans for each event, including timelines, tasks, and desired outcomes.
- Assist with the Chamber Ambassador Program and coordinate member event requests such as ribbon cuttings and grand openings.
- Support Chamber programming across networking, advocacy, economic and marquee events.
- Assist with tracking event-related expenses.
- Collect and organize event data to help improve program value and attendee experience.
- Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and external partners with a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- Experience in event planning, marketing, communications, or a related field is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to learn event execution and program processes under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Non-profit or membership organization experience is a plus.
- Comfort using project management tools or willingness to learn them.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexible, adaptable, and open to feedback; comfortable shifting priorities as needs arise.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
