Job Description
Summary:
Our client in Beaver Dam is currently looking for a 2nd shift Sheetfed Press Operator on a Direct Hire basis. This person will be responsible for setting up and operating Sheetfed Printing presses.
- Pay: $26.00-32.00/hr depending on experience plus a $0.70 cent shift premium
- Hours: Straight 8-hour shifts Monday – Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm plus overtime as required

Responsibilities:
- Set up sheetfed printing press by installing plates, adjusting ink levels, setting registration, and ensuring the proper alignment of paper sheets.
- Operate the sheetfed press, managing all aspects of the printing process, including speed, pressure, ink density, and paper handling to produce high-quality print products.
- Monitor and inspect printed materials throughout production to ensure that color consistency, registration, and overall print quality meet company and customer standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the press, such as cleaning rollers, changing plates, and fixing mechanical issues to ensure the press runs smoothly without interruptions.
- Monitor the supply of paper, ink, and other consumables, ensuring materials are loaded into the press correctly and there is no disruption in the production process.
- Quickly identify and resolve issues such as ink distribution problems, paper jams, or mechanical malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Previous Printing press operation experience is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of press operations and functions
- Ability to lift 50lbs throughout the shift
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task
